Taylor Swift!

Katy and I waiting for the show to start. Gloriana. Taylor's first song "You Belong with Me"
Katy and I got to go see Taylor Swift in concert on the 26th. It was in Salt Lake City at the Energy Soultions Arena! Kellie Pickler was supposed to be her opening act, but she was sick. So instead the country band Gloriana opened the show. They were good, but I only knew one of their songs. They played four songs, and then the real show started! Taylor was AMAZING! She blew our socks off! Katy and I screamed and sang at the top of our lungs!! We were in the 22nd row, so we could see really well! About halfway through the show, there was a little costume break. We were all waiting for her to come back on stage, and a guy came out and was pointing up in the stands. We all looked over and she was at the top of the stairs. She sang and made her way down the stairs. She came to a spinning platform right next to our seats. We got to go stand by the platform and we were really close to her! After she sang a couple songs she went around and greeted the fans! I got to touch her hair...not in a stalkerish kind of way! She went back to the main stage, and finished the show. For her encore she came out in a Jazz jersey and sang with Gloriana. Then she sang "Shoulda Said No". I don't know if you watched the CMA's where she sang under the water pouring down, but she did it at the concert too! It was so cool! Overall it was an amazing concert, and I hope to go see her again soon! Katy and I had a blast together too!

Day trip to Bear Lake!

Nils, Jacee and I went to Bear Lake with our friends Jason, Brittney and Kierra. It was a beautiful day too! The water was FREEZING, but it felt good with the hot sun. Jacee and Kierra had fun playing in the sand and water. It was a really fun trip and it was nice to get to know the Welch family better!

My brother the missionary!

My brother is currently serving the Raleigh, North Carolina mission. K.C. has been out teaching the Gospel since December of 2007. He loves the people and the beautiful state of NC. He has said many times he would like to return there in the future. K.C. has had a companion, Elder Baker, who is one of his new best friends. They send us hilarious pictures and videos! He has met so many people who have impacted his life! I don't think the mission has changed him in too many ways, and here are some pictures to prove it!

Bridal Veil Falls

On Cinco De Mayo Nils, Jacee and I headed down to Orem to visit my cousin Brindy and her family. We went to her house, where we met her husband Chris and their adorable daughter Lydia. After that we went to Bridal Veil Falls and enjoyed the scenery. It was such a beautiful day!! We had a nice lil picnic by the river. It was so nice seeing Brindy, and now that I know she lives so close there will definantly be more visits!

Our cute lil fam in front of the falls. So pretty! Me, Jacee, Brindy and Lydia. Nils and Jacee!!

Jacee and I by the river. My reasons for living! Brindy and Lydia. We wanted them to kiss! haha
