Does she get her driving skills from me??

Jacee has discovered a new, fun and exciting thing to do. It was so cute and fun to watch her become more independent and brave. I'm sure she would be out doing this alllll night, if we let her!

My Little Water Baby!

It didn't take us very long to figure out that Jacee was definantly a lil fish! She has always liked her baths (except for her first one) so we weren't surprised when she loved being in the pool. It doesn't matter how cold the water is...she wants to play! There's a splash pad down the street from our house, and we take her to play there. She also loves the pool, and playing in the sprinklers. She turns 18 months on July 5th, and I'm looking into getting her in swimming lessons.

My BIG Girl!

My little girl is growing up so fast. I can't believe it...On Saturday we bought Jacee a toddler bed! The first nap we tried in it wasn't so successful. She just cried and cried! So we let her play for another 30 mins or so, until she could barely keep her eyes open. So we laid her back down and she fell right to sleep. She has slept Saturday, and Sunday night in the bed, and she's done really well! I think, she thinks it's like her crib because she hasn't tried to get out of it. She still cries and waits for me to come in and get her. I guess that's a good thing though!

Trip Home!

Nils, Jacee and I went home to Idaho this past weekend. Nils' sister Viktoria, her husband Troy and their daughter Reese came down from California. And also all of my dad's siblings were visiting. We got there Thursday night, and just hung out with my family. Friday we went with my sister Kim her kids, Katy, Madi, my Aunt Lori, Uncle Dennis, cousins Wayne, Jennifer, her husband Ryan and thier son Jayden, Aunt Sherri, and Lori and Dennis' clients, to the alligator farm and to see the sturgeons. It was a fun little trip and afterwords we met the rest of my visiting family at my Grandma Anderson's house. Nils and I didnt stay long because we were meeting his mom, stepdad, and sister in law at Canyon Crest to eat. It was a nice dinner. Saturday we had a family dinner for my dad's side at our house. There was a lot of cousins and aunts and uncles there that I don't get to see much, so it was nice. We had a big lunch and afterwords we played games and just talked. Sunday we went to our niece Reese's 4th birthday party. It was fun, and good to see everybody. That night Nils went home and Jacee and I decided to stay for a couple more days. Monday night Katy, Madi, Jacee and I went to Kim's house and had s'mores. Eligh and Madi played in the mud, it was really funny! Tuesday we went to Madi's tball game. It was interesting. After that we went to the elementary playground and let the kids play. Wednesday Christine came down! We all played a family baseball game that night! It was me, Mom, Dad and Kim against Christine, Katy, Riley (Katy's friend) and Madi...we got our butts kicked! The bat broke so we all went inside and played apple to apples. Mom and Madi were a team together and the word was ridiculous, so we all played our cards. I know that I played the Dallas Cowboys, and there was clowns, and Puff Daddy. Madi picked clowns, and Kim was like "Puff Daddy! Come on!" Madi then said "I don't even know what the Puff Daddy is!!" We all laughed, because it was funny! Thursday Mom, Christine, Katy, Madi, Jacee and I all loaded up in the car and drove to Utah. We came to my house and stretched out for a little bit then we drove to Sandy and went to the Mayan Restaurant. We had to wait an HOUR to get in...crazy. It was a really neat place. The food was good and they had cliff divers, so that was pretty cool. All in all it was a great trip, and I'm always thankful to spend time with my family!

The Air Show

Saturday June 6, we attended the air show at the base where we live. It was cool to see all the planes and jets flying and doing tricks. It was a long, hot day but fun too!

Taylor Swift!

Katy and I waiting for the show to start. Gloriana. Taylor's first song "You Belong with Me"
Katy and I got to go see Taylor Swift in concert on the 26th. It was in Salt Lake City at the Energy Soultions Arena! Kellie Pickler was supposed to be her opening act, but she was sick. So instead the country band Gloriana opened the show. They were good, but I only knew one of their songs. They played four songs, and then the real show started! Taylor was AMAZING! She blew our socks off! Katy and I screamed and sang at the top of our lungs!! We were in the 22nd row, so we could see really well! About halfway through the show, there was a little costume break. We were all waiting for her to come back on stage, and a guy came out and was pointing up in the stands. We all looked over and she was at the top of the stairs. She sang and made her way down the stairs. She came to a spinning platform right next to our seats. We got to go stand by the platform and we were really close to her! After she sang a couple songs she went around and greeted the fans! I got to touch her hair...not in a stalkerish kind of way! She went back to the main stage, and finished the show. For her encore she came out in a Jazz jersey and sang with Gloriana. Then she sang "Shoulda Said No". I don't know if you watched the CMA's where she sang under the water pouring down, but she did it at the concert too! It was so cool! Overall it was an amazing concert, and I hope to go see her again soon! Katy and I had a blast together too!
